Development and exploration of the mineral reserves of the country (e.g. nickel, copper, gold and iron), which have remained as low development priority areas in remote and rural countryside

Revival of the iron and steel-based smelting industry that was started some 40 years, but remained stymied for various reasons thus leaving the Philippines behind the economies of South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, India, Indonesia, Vietnam and Malaysia

Establishment of new centre of commerce and population that will provide sources of livelihood, hospitable population communities, progressive agro-industrial economy, and alternative income-generating industries under a sustainable environment anchored through mineral development and utilization
